The Ecosystem Explained

If you've interacted with our platform, you've probably encountered three different names: Pinnket, Pinnitags, and Flentra. Here's exactly what each one does.

Pinnket — The Ticketing Platform

Pinnket (pinnket.com) is where event organisers sell tickets online. It handles:

• Event listing and promotion
• Ticket sales and payment processing
• Attendee management

If you're selling tickets to the public, Pinnket is your storefront. Tickets sold through Pinnket are automatically registered in the verification system — no extra setup needed.

Pinnitags — The Ticket Registry

Pinnitags is the backend database that stores all ticket records. Think of it as the single source of truth for every ticket issued.

If you're *not* selling through Pinnket — maybe you sold tickets at the venue, through mobile money, or through a third-party agent — you can still upload your attendee list directly to Pinnitags. Once it's there, every ticket in your list becomes verifiable.

This is the bridge that makes Flentra work even for organisers who don't use Pinnket for sales.

Flentra — The Gate App

Flentra is the mobile app your gate team uses on event day. It connects to Pinnitags, loads your event, and enables real-time scanning in either Verification or Access Control mode.

Flentra works on any Android device. It requires no special hardware — just a phone with a working camera.

The Full Flow

• Sell tickets via Pinnket **or** upload your list to Pinnitags manually
• Download Flentra and log in with your event credentials
• Choose your mode and start scanning at the gate
• Every scan is checked live — valid tickets go through, fakes and duplicates are flagged

Why This Structure Matters

Most ticketing platforms lock you into their ecosystem. Our structure is different: you can use any combination of the three products depending on your situation. Sold tickets offline? Pinnitags has you covered. Need gate verification without switching ticketing platforms? Flentra works independently.

The goal is to make professional-grade event security accessible to every Ugandan organiser — not just the ones with large budgets or technical teams.
